Come and visit our Virtual Booth! We are pleased to share our thoughts with you and give you a brief view on our work in building the fair data economy. Guests will have a chance to share your thoughts with our experts and join our network of data enthusiasts for future cooperation. A variety of publications and other materials will be available in our booth. You can also leave your contact information and continue the discussions with our experts after the conference.

Partner interview

I look forward to meeting new partners and people, hearing new views and learning from others. I am very keen to hear how our development work on fair data criteria resonates among different parties and what kind of views it raises.

What will your MyData Online 2020 presentation be about?

In the MyData Online 2020 Conference we are presenting our ongoing work on fair data criteria and maturity model according to which organisations could measure and evaluate their level of sustainable and fair use of data.

Why did you decide to partner with this unique conference? What’s the added value?

Sitra emphasizes the human-centric approach in the use of data. By supporting MyData movement Sitra wants to enhance this thinking. We appreciate highly the international and cross-sectoral approach of the conference. We also hope to spread the word of our own work and find new and interesting collaboration possibilities.

What are you looking forward to most about the conference?

I look forward to meeting new partners and people, hearing new views and learning from others. I am very keen to hear how our development work on fair data criteria resonates among different parties and what kind of views it raises.

Why should everyone be interested in mydata issues?

We are in a transition phase of moving to a data-driven world and societies. In this context our future is shaped by the data we produce and use each day. We all should be aware of what kind of questions and issues this raises and be able to decide how our data is being used. Data economy holds many advantages for businesses if they only understand how to use their data assets in an efficient and fair manner. In the end, fair use of data should benefit all – individuals, businesses, and the society.
