Prof. Pekka Nikander has over 30 years of research and software development expertise. He is the founder of Nixu Ltd listed at Nasdaq OMX Nordic, and co-founder in five other startups. He has authored or co-authored over 100 refereed scientific articles, with almost 10000 citations, is the inventor or a co-inventor in some 20 priority patents, and has a Google H-index of 44.
His main strength is thinking beyond the box, being able to formulate far reaching visions and being able to implement the required technology. Among other things, is the leader of the EIC Prize winning GMeRitS consortium, aiming to test anti-rival compensation and governance structures in practical real-life experiments.
