Kristina Yasuda

Kristina is an international negotiator currently working on standardization of decentralized identity standards at Microsoft Corp. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from SciencesPo Paris in Political Science. In 2019, she received Forbes 30 Under 30 in Politics for her work of providing digital identity to disenfranchised populations as a means of self-reliance and financial inclusion at an international NGO InternetBar.org.

Previously she has worked as a Public Sector Strategy Consultant at Accenture. She serves as a board member at MyData Global, an award-winning international non-profit whose mission is to empower individuals’ rights to self-determination regarding their personal data, and PeaceDay Foundation, an institution with a mission to build awareness around peace-building. She serves as an anchor of an international news program in Japan with a goal of fostering constructive discussion on international relations and policy in Japan.

Recently, she served as a program manager of an open-source community whose code was adopted for a contract tracing app in Japan. She is an appointed member of two committees convened by the Cabinet of Japan – TrustedWeb, and Blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology.
