Jakub Klodwig

Ph.D. student, Institute of Law and Technology - Masaryk University, CyberSecurity, CyberCrime and Critical Information Infrastructures Center of Excellence (C4e)

My name is Jakub Klodwig and I am a Ph.D. student at The Institute of Law and Technology – Masaryk University, Brno. I enjoy combining academic legal knowledge with legal practice, therefore I also work as a junior associate in a law firm, focusing on ICT law and public procurement law.

I have been specializing in ICT law since my school years, when I was working for a large international law firm specializing in the implementation of GDPR and at the same time I was involved in The Central Development Project GDPR – MEYS 2018. I won 1st place in International Czech-Slovak student science competition with paper dealing with personal data and privacy protection in cookies files. Since then I have published many articles, including practical commentary on the law on personal data processing in 2020.

Nowadays, I participate at CyberSecurity, CyberCrime and Critical Information Infrastructures Center of Excellence (C4e), where I specialize at personal data protection and privacy protection in wearable electronics.
