Michael has over thirty years of experience in the technology sector, working in the United States, Canada and since 2015 in Vienna, Austria. Michael is currently the Managing Director of The Dingle Group, Founding Member of MyData Global and MyData Austria Hub. Michael is leading the Self-Sovereign Identity and IoT Task Force for the Sovrin Foundation and Co-Chair of the Trust and Identity Subgroup of the IEEE P2933 Clinical IoT Working Group.
As an unreformed former real-time embedded systems developer, Michael has been greatly troubled by the apparent total disregard to security within the IoT sector, and sees the real technical and business opportunities that Self-Sovereign Identity creates to make vast improvements closing these problems.
