Committed to patient engagement, consumer empowerment, and the use of health information technology to support collaborative care, Leslie’s experience as a health system Chief Information Officer and Marketing executive at Saint Alphonsus Health System gave her a platform to promote and operationalize patient access to records, patient education and shared decision making when these ideas were still nascent in the industry. Her work with patients and technology led her to executive roles with Healthwise where her work defining product and leading strategic efforts influenced nationwide policy. Appointed to national advisory committees in both the Obama and Trump administrations, Leslie has made an impact on healthcare technology policy for patients, providers, and the data interoperability needed to co-produce health with all stakeholders; with the patient at the center.
