Lauren Pandolfelli

Statistics Specialist (Gender Equality), UNICEF

Lauren Pandolfelli is a Gender Statistics Specialist in the Division of Data, Analytics, Planning and Monitoring (DAPM) at UNICEF, where she leads the agency’s technical work to improve the quality, analysis and availability of gender data on women and children. Lauren came to UNICEF from the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), where she led the development of methodological guidance on measuring asset ownership and entrepreneurship from a gender perspective under the Evidence and Data for Gender Equality project, a joint initiative of UNSD and UN Women. She holds a doctorate in sociology and a master’s degree in international development.
