Kasia is the Director for the Insights team at Mozilla Foundation where she runs the production of publications such as the Internet Health Report, a compilation of research and stories explaining what’s key to a healthier internet, as well as other strategic analyses. Before Mozilla she worked on creating open culture and developing mediawiki software with Wikipedia communities.
She is also a recipient of the Google News Initiative grant with her startup TapeWrite where she led product strategy and worked on alternative funding models for audio publishers. She is the founder of the German Chapter of Zebras Unite calling for a more ethical and inclusive movement to counter existing startup and venture capital culture.
She has been a long time contributor to Global Voices, an international blogger community where she reported on digital and human rights issues. Kasia has a background in law, political science and product management.
