Jamile Hamideh

Jamile (Jay) Hamideh is a Brazilian-Palestinian tech lawyer living and working in Helsinki, Finland.

She has been doing research and working with blockchain for the past five years and is especially interested in the social impact of this technology with regards to access to justice, identity and privacy for vulnerable populations. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/ Europe (CIPP/E) and a writer.

Jamile is currently the co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer at Vinculum Growth, a consulting company that advises blockchain startups and businesses. She is also a Board Member and the Community Manager of the Blockchain Forum Finland, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the local tech ecosystem.
She has been a member of MyData Global since April 2020, after discovering how its principles can be used when building more socially responsible tech that empowers people.
