Christiane Grünloh

Senior Researcher, Roessingh Research and Development

Christiane is a researcher in Human-Computer interaction and senior researcher at Roessingh Research & Development in Enschede (The Netherlands). She has a medical background with several years of experience working as a medical assistant (GP, Urology) and holds degrees in Media Informatics (BSc, MSc) obtained from TH Köln University of Applied Sciences (Germany). For about 10 years Christiane worked as a research assistant and lecturer in Media Informatics and Web Science at TH Köln, where she also was the programme coordinator of the master programme Web Science.

In her PhD research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (Sweden), Christiane investigated the opportunities and challenges of patients accessing their electronic health records, especially in relation to patient participation and the doctor-patient relationship. In 2019 she joined the eHealth group at Roessingh Research & Development as senior researcher where she is involved in several national and international research projects.
